Shealen learned to ride a bike at age 4 along the sidelines at her local BMX track (Metroplex BMX) while watching her brothers race. At the age of five, Shealen won the ABA World Championships in Ontario, CA and then defended the title again at age six in Reno, Nevada. She was a two time World Champion by the age of six! That same year as a six year old, Shealen was Nationally ranked 4th among her class and has continued to be a Nationally ranked rider every year since 2001. Shealen has continued to stack up awards and national rankings every year….some of them include:

Through the years, Shealen has traveled coast to coast and even to other countries racing BMX. Her love of BMX racing, has never diminished an ounce since the first time she stepped on the track. She has poured her heart, soul and body into her racing career. Shealen’s future goals of becoming an Olympic BMX Athlete flourish strong through her hard work and discipline on and off the BMX track.
